The Tall Club of Orange county is a not-for-profit social club for tall people in the Orange county area of Southern California. Members of the Tall Club of Orange county range in age from their 20's to 60's. The majority of our members are single men and women interested in meeting and socializing with other tall people. In addition to the activities seen in our Calendar Section, there are plenty of volunteer activities. Joining us is a good way to meet other tall people and getting to know them.
Tall Club events are generally open to the public unless designated as a "closed" event. Closed events are those that require attendees to be either already be a a member of TCOC or another TCI club, or currently being considered for membership in a TCI club.
We are one of approximately 65 Tall clubs throughout California, the United States, and the world, affiliated through Tall Clubs International (TCI). We provide a wide range of social activities for persons of above average height. If you are tall and live in or near Orange County, read further about becoming a member and joining us in our fun-filled activities.
Membership in the Tall Club of Orange County has its own rewards:
To become a member, one must meet the minimum requirements (listed below), have attended one of our events, and submit an application along with a check for one year's dues to be cashed after you have joined the club. At some time before membership has been finalized, height must be measured. Applications will be considered at the next business meeting.
Our events are listed in our Calendar section. As a courtesy, we ask prospective members to notify the people designated as contacts for the events you plan to attend and tell them you are coming. They can also answer any questions you may have about the event.
Prospective members receive three complimentary issues of our club newsletter, The Highlife.
You may also submit your prospective membership information on-line!
One does not need to be an Orange County resident to join.
A member in good standing with another TCI affiliated tall club may apply to the Tall Club of Orange County simply by sending us a letter of recommendation from the other club on their letterhead. Measurement is not necessary in these cases.
Note: applying to TCOC does not affect membership in their prior club and dues for TCOC membership must be paid.
