Ms. Morison’s involvement with TCI began in the late 1970’s, when she joined the San Diego Tall Singles. She participated in the 2008 international pageant as Miss Tall San Francisco, having joined the San Francisco Tip Toppers in 1992. The new Miss Tall International® currently enjoys dual membership in the Tip Toppers and Sacramento Tall Club.

Being easily remembered by others is both an advantage and disadvantage of having notable height, from Morison’s point of view. A major advantage, besides the ability to quickly scan a crowd, is the opportunity to make friends and try new activities through affiliation with a tall club. As a tall person, Morison has found it challenging to find affordable clothes, shoes, and an accommodating car that gets good gas mileage. When asked why she would like to be Miss Tall International®, Morison stated that it “…would give me the opportunity to spread the word to celebrate being tall and to encourage all of us in Tall Clubs to celebrate each other and the unique gifts each of us brings to our tall family.”
Throughout her year as Miss Tall International®, Morison will be invited to weekend events sponsored by affiliated clubs. Her presence will help the clubs generate publicity to raise local awareness of their activities and purpose.
