Welcome to Tall Clubs International

Welcome to Tall Clubs International (TCI)!

We’re so glad you’re here! Whether you’re looking for new friendships, a place to connect with others who understand the tall experience, or you’re simply curious about TCI, we’re excited to have you join us on this journey.

For nearly 90 years, Tall Clubs International has brought tall individuals from all walks of life together to share experiences, build lasting friendships, and create lifelong memories. At one time, our community was more than 4,000 members strong—and while we’ve faced challenges in recent years, we’re actively working to revitalize TCI and make it stronger than ever.

To do that, we need you—especially those with fresh ideas, energy, and a passion for connection. There are many tall-focused groups on social media bringing people together, and that’s wonderful! As another social media influencer said recently, “We are all in this together”. But what makes TCI unique is our in-person camaraderie—the regular opportunities to meet face-to-face and experience that incredible feeling of being in a room full of people who share your height and perspective. That’s the spirit we’re reigniting.

Our clubs are active across the country, and for those who don’t live near one, we also have a vibrant Members-at-large community. From local weekend get-togethers to our annual national convention, TCI offers a welcoming environment to make new friends, explore new places, and celebrate tall living. While romance has occasionally blossomed from these connections, our main purpose has always been to build lifelong friendships and promote tall awareness.

We’re excited about the future of TCI and are looking for members who want to be part of that growth. Whether you start a new club, join an existing one, or get involved on a committee or the TCI Board, there are many ways to make a difference. Together, we can bring new life and energy into this incredible organization.

If you’re 21 years old or older, you stand tall at 6’2” or more for men or 5’10” or more for women—and you’re looking for a place to belong—you’ve found it!

Let’s build something special—join us, volunteer, and help shape the next chapter of Tall Clubs International.

For more information, reach out to our Membership Vice President at TCIMembership@tall.org, contact any member of the Executive Board (found in the “About TCI” section) or fill out the form under the “join/Contact” page on this website. Our emails are always open—we’d love to hear from you!

TCI Foundation Fundraising News

Thanks to you and your generosity, and the growth of our investments, the TCI Foundation & Tall Clubs International have awarded this year 23 scholarships to well deserving students from across North America.

This year we are trying something a little different as a fundraiser to benefit our scholarship program and we need your assistance. On behalf of the TCI Foundation Board of Directors, I am writing to our Member Clubs, Individual Members and Members At Large to donate an “item” of value to our first ever online auction! More details here…

Tall Tour Event

Recently, a number of TCI members (not all pictured here) attended a Tall Tour event in New York City with around 1000 tall people in attendance. It was an awesome event, and over 400 TCI business cards were passed out! This is just another example of what we are doing to invest in the future of TCI.

Tall Club International™ traces its beginnings to 1938 and the inspiration of a very tall young woman who got a little tired of being teased about the short men she was coloring for Walt Disney Studios at the time. The young woman was Kae Sumner Einfeldt, and the movie was Disney’s original “Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs.” Now, decades later, thousands of tall people have Kae to thank for a lifetime of fun and meaningful relationships which they have shared with their extended family of tall friends from all around the world.
